A Sault Ste. Marie dentist is matching up to $15,000 in donations from businesses and residents to St. Vincent Place’s Lunches for Learning program.

Dr. Carlo Biasucci’s pledge is good for contributions made until Dec. 31, a release says.

St. Vincent Place spends nearly $2,000 each week to buy nutritious items, including deli meat, cheese, yogurt and fresh fruit, for school lunches for almost 300 children.

Donations can be made at vincentplacessm.ca/lunches-for-learning, or by cash or cheques made payable to St. Vincent Place. Mention Lunches for Learning in the subject line.
