The British Dental Association (BDA) has called on Stormont to tackle the ‘scandal’ of rotting teeth as its revealed almost 100,000 children here have required extractions since 2017.

t’s unclear exactly how many of the 99,369 procedures carried out in dentist and hospital settings over the past five years were due to tooth decay.
